Turning Colors

Woke up this morning to a blue ring around my finger so it looks like I'll have to make a stop by Walmart to get a semi-inexpensive fake ring that doesn't turn my finger colors.

Tonight Phil and I are going to our first of two required classes at our Birth Center. Tonight's class is about possible complications that can arise with Mom or Baby after the birth. Our next class will be next week and is about Early Home Care after birth. I'm sure most of it won't be super new information to me since I saw most of the common complications at my Postpartum hospital job. I also know most of what it takes to take care of an infant, at least within the first week. Regardless, I am excited to go to these classes because it's a way to involve Phil in the whole process.

My next prenatal appointment is also next week, where I "get" to do my glucose tolerance test! I've heard mixed reviews on how bad it is but I have a feeling it's really not that bad. I will also get my hemoglobin checked to make sure I'm getting enough iron.

Next thing I'm looking forward to...baby showers! Cant wait to start stocking her nursery.
