Spinach Smoothie

I wanted so bad to believe I had tossed my last cookie, but fate had other plans. Although this time there was a culprit besides simply morning sickness. I made a smoothie with just frozen mixed berries, a little spinach, and coconut water. After I had made it Victoria came over and had taken a sip of it and said it tasted kinda funny. So I took a drink and it did have a funny taste but I had just put away all the stuff to make the smoothies and I didn't want to have to make another. So I took like 2 more drinks and it was at that point that I realized it would not be worth it to drink this if it made me sick. The spinach I had put in was a little old but hearing Phil's voice in my head saying, "Don't waste food!" I figured I better finish it off.

So I took everything back out and made another one with just the berries and coconut water. Little did I know, those few drinks were all it took to make my tummy very unhappy.

 It was as Miranda, Victoria, and I were walking into Home Depot that I said, "I'm feeling really nauseous right now guys so don't be surprised if I puke in here." At that point I even spotted some nice potted plants that might have been a nice place to do it. Then I thought, "Mind over matter!"

So we walked in and I was trying to distract myself. We successfully got the nursery paint and left. We even stopped at Miranda's apartment to grab a step ladder and I thought maybe I should just do it there. Then I realized Miranda's husband was sleeping right across the hall and who wants to wake up to that?

We made it all the way back to my house and I literally walked into the bathroom and WHAMOH! I had forgotten how awful throwing up is. After that I felt SO much better and drank some tea.

We successfully painted the whole nursery and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I can't wait to find out the sex so we can customize it!

*EDIT*

I just scheduled our anatomy ultrasound where we will find out the sex! I'm not gonna tell you the date though so there is some anticipation. One day there will be a gender reveal post when you least expect it!
